Iranna encourages viewers to create their own ideas about his work, which was initially inspired by personal experiences but later expanded to addressing social issues faced by the common man. Monks often appear in his paintings, not because of any particular spiritual orientation of the artist but as symbols of innocence and the collective solitude of faith and its frailty.
